Không… Cũng Không… (Neither… Nor…) in Vietnames- Structure, examples, exercises

Structure “neither… nor…” in Vietnamese is used to negate two adjectives or qualities simultaneously. This form employs a pair of antonyms to affirm a neutral state of a person or thing.

• Bạn của tôi không giàu cũng không nghèo. (My friend is neither rich nor poor.)
• Cô ấy không xinh cũng không xấu. (She is neither beautiful nor ugly.)
• Cái phòng này không to cũng không nhỏ. (This room is neither big nor small.)
